Corrosion of Conformity Announce First Album in Eight Years: Good God / Baad Man
Corrosion of Conformity are back with a vengeance. The Raleigh heavy metal veterans have announced Good God / Baad Man, a monumental double album arriving April 3, 2026 via Nuclear Blast — their first release since 2018's No Cross No Crown.
The eight-year gap was marked by both tragedy and transformation. Founding drummer Reed Mullin passed away in January 2020, and bassist Mike Dean amicably departed the band. Stepping in are drummer Stanton Moore, who previously played on 2005's In the Arms of God, and bassist Bobby Landgraf, known for his work with Down and Honky.
A Double Album With Two Identities
Producer Warren Riker (Fugees, Down, Cathedral) has dubbed the concept "Dark Side of the Doom." The album is split into two distinct sonic worlds: the aggressive, punk-fueled energy of Good God and the deep southern-rock groove of Baad Man. It was recorded across Pepper Keenan's "Blak Shak" studio in Mississippi, Dockside Studios in Louisiana, and Barry Gibb's home studio in Miami.
First Single: Gimme Some Moore
The first preview comes via the blistering lead single "Gimme Some Moore," which features guest vocals from Al Jourgensen (Ministry) and gang vocals from Monte Pittman (Madonna, Prong). The accompanying video was directed by Keenan and shot by Mike Holderbeast.
Tour Dates
In support of the album, CoC return to the road this spring with headline dates alongside Whores, shows with Clutch (plus JD Pinkus on select dates), and later dates featuring both Whores and Crobot. The band recently expanded their 2026 touring schedule with six additional European dates across the UK and Spain in June.
