The secret is out: Arch Enemy have officially introduced Lauren Hart as their new vocalist on February 19, 2026. The former Once Human frontwoman becomes the fourth lead singer in the Swedish melodic death metal institution's 30-year history — following Johan Liiva, Angela Gossow and Alissa White-Gluz.
Alongside the announcement, the band dropped the blistering new single "To The Last Breath." Founding guitarist Michael Amott praised the collaboration, calling working with Hart an exceptional experience — her remarkable voice, combined with her dedication and professionalism, brings a rare level of excellence to the table.
The reveal caps off an elaborate teaser campaign that had the metal world buzzing for days. The band wiped their social media channels and posted cryptic clips featuring a hooded figure carrying a burning torch alongside the number "2026." Former vocalist Angela Gossow, who continues to manage the band, quickly shot down rumors of a comeback behind the mic: "It's not ME!" she stated, adding that she's excited to be involved as manager.
Hart, an American musician raised in Australia, previously fronted melodic death metallers Once Human. Her aggressive vocal style and commanding stage presence make her a natural fit for the Arch Enemy universe.
To celebrate this new chapter, Arch Enemy have announced the "Back To The Root Of All Evil" intimate European club tour for summer 2026. The run hits Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, London and more throughout July and August. A band reborn — and ready to prove it.
