Powerwolf Hit #1 on German Charts for the Fifth Time With WILDLIVE

Powerwolf have done it again. Their live album Wildlive (Live at Olympiahalle) has entered the official German album charts at the #1 position — marking the fifth time the band has topped the charts. A remarkable achievement, and even more impressive considering this is a live record.

The album captures their sold-out Olympiahalle show in Munich during the 2024 Wolfsnächte Tour — the band's biggest headline tour to date. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Joost van den Broek, the release delivers the full Powerwolf experience: fire-breathing church organs, thunderous pyrotechnics, operatic storytelling and a crowd of thousands singing every word.

Five Albums, Five Times #1

Powerwolf's chart dominance speaks for itself. With Wildlive, they join an exclusive club of metal acts who have reached the top of the German charts with a live album. Their previous #1 records include The Sacrament of Sin (2018), Call of the Wild (2021), Interludium (2023), and Wake Up the Wicked (2024).
