Alissa White-Gluz Unveils Solo Band Lineup With Two New Guitarists
Former Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has taken the next major step in her solo career by introducing two new guitarists to her band: Alyssa Day (Mindscar, Absentia) and Daniella Sophia (ex-Till Lindemann).
The announcement, made via social media on February 20, marks a significant milestone for White-Gluz, who departed Arch Enemy in November 2025 to pursue her own musical vision. Since then, she has released two singles — The Room Where She Died (November 2025) and the duet Breathing with Cole Rolland (January 30, 2026), the latter composed by Kamelot keyboardist Oliver Palotai.
The New Guitarists
Alyssa Day brings serious credentials to the table. A Jackson Guitars artist and member of both Mindscar and instrumental prog metallers Absentia, Day has built a strong reputation in the metal guitar community over recent years.
Daniella Sophia has been making waves on social media with videos soloing over Meshuggah and Humanity's Last Breath riffs, earning her an endorsement deal with Fishman. She previously performed with Till Lindemann's solo project.
Industry Heavyweights Approve
The announcement has already received enthusiastic support from the metal community. Nita Strauss, guitarist for Alice Cooper, praised the lineup, while Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Scabbia, Mercyful Fate bassist Becky Baldwin, and Sepultura frontman Derrick Green also expressed their support.
While the rhythm section has yet to be revealed, fans can expect more music and potentially live dates in the near future. With Day and Sophia now confirmed, the project appears to be gaining serious momentum.
