Mercyful Fate's sixth studio album 'Dead Again' was released in 1998. Marking their return with their signature occult themes but a darker, more modern production with distorted guitars. Featuring new guitarist Mike Wead, blending classic intensity with complex arrangements. Praised by fans for its solid metal sound even if it was less commercially popular at the time.
