Often considered a masterpiece, King Diamond's third studio album 'Them' was released in 1988 through Roadrunner Records. A chilling horror concept album detailing a young boy's descent into madness alongside his possessed grandmother and the spectral entities, "Them", haunting their home, with its narrative continuing in the subsequent album 'Conspiracy'. It's praised for its intricate storytelling, layered vocals portraying different characters, and strong musicianship, cementing King Diamond's reputation for theatrical, dark metal.
