King Diamond is one of the most outstanding personalities of today's metal scene. With Mercyful Fate and King Diamond he wrote metal-history and is an important part of the scene for decades. Since 1986 King has released many classic horror metal albums, which because of their outstanding storylines and musical variety are unique in the hard rock scene.

King Diamond's seventh studio album 'The Graveyard' was released in 1996 through Massacre Records. A dark concept album following a sinister story of abuse and revenge involving a corrupt mayor, his daughter Lucy, and the asylum escapee narrator. The album is known for its intricate storytelling, dual vocals, and memorable tracks like "Black Hill Sanitarium" and "Digging Graves".
