Avatar released their new album Don’t Go In The Forest in October 2025 and are now touring Europe with the record. However, the concert in London on February 14 had to be cut short before the end of the setlist because of a dangerous technical incident. The entire stage became electrified, causing two crew members to suffer severe electric shocks and damaging equipment.
The following day, a video with further details about the incident was shared by singer Johannes Eckerström. In it, he commented on the situation and the decision to stop the show, saying that the band absolutely wanted to finish the full show, but couldn't take the risk. He also thanks everyone who attended the concert, asking for understanding in this situation.
Despite this unfortunate incident, Avatar are continuing the tour. We hope everything runs smoothly for the remaining shows.
