After AC/DC performed their show in Santiago de Chile last Sunday, March 15, their current guitarist Stevie Young was taken to a hospital for unknown reasons. However, an official statement from a spokesperson suggests it was merely a precautionary measure without serious consequences:

“Out of an abundance of caution, he was admitted to a local hospital where he is undergoing a full battery of tests. Stevie is doing well and is in good spirits. He is looking forward to getting on stage on Monday.”

Fans can therefore also remain calm and optimistic about the upcoming concerts of the rock legends in Argentina starting March 23.

Stevie Young has been playing rhythm guitar for AC/DC since 2014, taking over the position previously held by his uncle Malcolm Young, who passed away in 2014.
